Maven suspends car sharing service until at least April 13

Due to COVID-19, market conditions, and CDC guidelines, new and existing reservations that fall within the suspension window will not be permitted.

At Maven, the health and safety of our community is imperative. To help keep everyone safe, we have made the decision to suspend our Car Sharing service until at least April 13. This means cars will not be available to rent, and all upcoming reservations scheduled within the suspension window will be canceled. Members who are currently in a trip are permitted to finish the reservation* but will not be given the option to extend.

We are monitoring the situation closely, and following the guidelines provided by the CDC, and all federal, state, and local governments. We understand this decision is disruptive and difficult, but it’s also the best way to keep our members, car owners, and employees safe.

If you are not a member yet, we still hope you will sign up. It’s free. But you won’t see any cars to rent in our mobile app until at least April 13.

Can I get a refund if I canceled my reservation due to COVID-19, and was charged for a late cancellation?

We understand there may be unexpected changes during these challenging times. Refunds will not be issued but your case will be reviewed, and a promo code for the cost of the canceled reservation will be issued for you to use on a future reservation (before end of year)

What should I do if I have a reservation scheduled for after April 13th?

Your reservation is still scheduled. We will continue to monitor the situation, and if anything changes we will reach out to you. You can also check maven.com for updates. If you would like to cancel you may do so at no charge.
